Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the Chevening Scholarship 2025–26, you must:

  • Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory
  • Return to your home country for at least 2 years after your studies
  • Have completed an undergraduate degree (equivalent to a UK 2:1)
  • Have at least two years (2,800 hours) of work experience (this includes internships, volunteer work, or part-time jobs)
  • Apply to three eligible UK Master’s programs
  • Receive at least one unconditional offer from your selected UK universities by the July 2025 deadline

Note: You don’t need to have an English language certificate for Chevening, but your chosen universities may require IELTS/TOEFL or other proof of English.

Choosing Your UK Courses

You must select three different eligible one-year Master’s programs in the UK. These can be at the same university or at different ones. Your choices should:

  • Be relevant to your career goals
  • Start in the fall of 2025
  • Be full-time and not research-based PhDs or part-time courses
